Set within a private 150-hectare nature reserve, located along the route connecting Cusco, Puno, and the Colca Valley, Tinajani is Andean’s latest property which will be opening in April 2025.

This hidden gem will not only provide a refuge to break up the journey between three of the country’s main destinations but a base from which to explore the mesmerising vistas of the high Altiplano. 

In keeping with Andean’s ethos of reusing and reimagining existing buildings for their projects, Tinajani comprises an old farmhouse and 6 safari style tented camps. Each of these consists of two connected tents - a bedroom and sitting area with private bathroom and a hot tub from which guests can enjoy breath-taking views. 

Sculpted by the erosion of an ancient lake that once shaped the Altiplano, Tinajani Canyon is a unique landscape steeped in history and mythology. Guests can hike or bike along nature trails to discover the local flora and fauna, enjoying picnics and absorbing the spectacular panoramic views along the way. The clear skies of the Andes are ideal for stargazing and visits to nearby artisan workshops offer fascinating insight into the local culture of the region.
