MARCH – BACK TO SCHOOL AT SOL Y LUNA
The summer holidays have drawn to an end in Peru and the Sol y Luna Intercultural School has re-opened its doors for a new school term. As well as providing luxury accommodation, seasonal gastronomy and unique excursions, Sol y Luna has an overriding purpose of educating local children in this rural area of Peru. The Sol y Luna Intercultural School has 220 students, including 15 with disabilities; and the hotel itself provides sustainable employment for the local community. Visits to the school are available for guests who would like to support the foundation: please find details here.
